A short getaway to recharge myself for the long haul ahead

Had a short getaway trip to Batam last week to relax & recharge myself. It was a short 2D1N staycation at Montigo resort. Wish I could stay longer T.T. Shall let my pics do all the talking

Finally posting something after abandoning it for quite a while due to exams, *cleaning the dust*.

Finally finished my exams & received my exam results on wed. Fared pretty good with 1 A+ , 1 A- * 1 B, my 2nd best GPA of 4.17 since uni days. Shall continue to work hard to chiong for my remaining 3 sems.

Busy, busy, busy

Have been busy doing up my assignments for the past 2 wks tt i do not have time to update here. Nth much to update here as I onli have time to meet my gf for dinner after doing my assignments. Had the crab broth ramen & I prefer this over the lobster broth ramen. Just submitted my assignment ytd & managed to find some time to relax before starting on the second assignment.

The king's long weekend happenings

Good Friday:

Went to have a look at the SG bus exhibition at vivo since we happened to be there. Felt amazed by how much our bus transportation system changes over the years & went into the 1st generation public bus inside the exhibition.

Went to tanjong pagar railway station & it was people mountain people sea. Didn't get to see much of the booths at the 90s arts bazaar. Took some photos of the railway station where i step foot into it the 1st time. Hopefully can take the train to M'sia to have a different experience.

Went to gyoza king to check out the gyoza & it doesn't disappoint me. It was very satisfying as compared to the lobster ramen & best of all it have no queue when we went over at 550pm :D

Went drinking with the sec sch clique & drank quite a lot there. The hangover was terrible & I shall stop drinking for the time being. Really old liao -.-

Sat:

Vomited the whole morning due to excessive drinking the previous night. Managed to recover & meet my gf to sing k. Had to attend an emergency case at my workplace while otw for dinner & made my gf wait for me for abt an hour. Luckily we managed to have dinner at pink Candy korean snack bar cafe which we wanted to go earilier. The ginseng chicken soup really recover my genki instantly & we ended the day with my gf sending me back.

Sun:

Badminton session with the sec sch clique. Sweat out quite a bit & felt tt i m getting my feel back liao. But a pity I hav to go back to assignments & exams preparation which means no more badminton for the time being sobz.

Celebrating Louis's Dad birthday & watching our first soccer match together

Went to Louis' house to celebrate Louis' dad brithday yesterday. Bought the chicken pie from sunset way as the birthday cake though I didn't get to eat it cuz it's too late le =( Hope that her dad like the chicken pie & the gift i bought. We had korean fried chicken from nene chicken & really i felt my stomach bursting sia LOL..

Went to have a walk to Kovan to play bowling but it was fully packed =( We decided to go to the cafe beside the bowling place as it was screening Everton vs Arsenal live. It was a good game won by Arsenal & even better with Louis accompanying me watching even though she duno anything abt soccer. Hope tt we have the chance to watch another soccer match together =P

Time to spend my sunday fruitfully as weekend is precious. ciaos.

Zootopia & Ramen Keisuke Lobster King

Back here after a week of work haiz. #throwback to what I did ytd & today.

Thur 17/03:

Meet up with Louis, Jordan & ZY to watch zootopia at 321 Clementi. The movie is really nice & worth watching it. Laughed damn hard when it featured the sloth in the movie,

Had tau huey at the market after the movie before heading back home to rest.

Fri 18/03

Went out with Louis to try the Ramen Keisuke Lobster King at Clarke Quay. The queue is so damn long even before it's opened at 6pm. We waited for ard 1 hr before we get to go inside the restaurant. I ordered the rich broth ramen & Louis ordered the clear broth ramen. Overall I think the ramen tasted nice but the soup is kinda oily even though we opted for less oil. The soup taste saltier when there is no more noodles to eat with the soup.

After tt we checked out the replica batman car & have a walk to boat quay. We had a short break berfore back before we get our bubble tea craving satisfied ;D Had to go back home as I have to work tmr sigh..

On a positive note: The weekends are here :D Time to enjoy the weekend xD

Badminton & Pool session

Today is a healthy lifestyle day with a badminton session with the baka gang. I hate it but to admit that my body is not as good as compared to my sec sch days as my movement & reflex is nt as gd as before haiz..But still had a great session & hope that i can regain my touch again HAHA.

After that we went for early dinner at Clementi food centre as the rain is very heavy. Had western food for dinner & after that went to 321 mall for some hot dessert. I ordered tangyuan with ginger soup & I was being judged by JL & taby. Haiz wonder y so many people dun lie to drink ginger soup.

We managed to brave through the rain to West Coast Recreation Centre to play pool. Managed to played 2 games before we decided to call it a day as we are too tired to carry on as well. Reached home at about 8+ pm & here i m blogging nw. Not much pics was taken during badminton as all of us were at the court.

Hope that tmr will be a good day at work. #mondayblues
